Hastings is a lively seaside town, and a great favourite with tourists both from the UK and abroad. The town is a blend of old and new, with its large modern shopping centre and picturesque Old Town full of tiny streeets and medieval houses. We have a good beach of course, and a very big country park with specacular view out along the coast and the cliffs, and there is also a sports centre with a swimming pool and all the usual facilities. Nightlife is good, there are lots of pubs and restaurants to try out and in the summer in particular it's a very lively place. And of course we are conveniently close to the excitements of London (as well as its airports), and there are may interesting places to visit nearby, such as Brighton, Rye, Battle and Dover. So whatever you interests, Hastings has something to offer you!
