English is the international language of business and communication. This has been reinforced by the growth of the Internet and the globalisation of international trade, culture and language. Liverpool has a distinctive cultural heritage but is also a modern, vibrant centre of business and commerce, making it an excellent environment in which to learn English. The Liverpool School of English offers an unusual and diverse range of language courses to a wide range of organisations. We pride ourselves on our flexible approach, which enables us to try and accommodate all budgets. There is a full range of English Language Courses on offer, from beginner to advanced level. The school is also able to provide Business and Technical English Language Courses. The English Language Summer School programme enables international students to gain as much from their time in England as possible. We combine various learning based activities with a full and varied social programme. The combination of formal classes with afternoon and evening activities and weekend excursions presents the student with the opportunity to practice English informally in everyday situations. Our teachers are a highly qualified and responsible group of individuals. They have all the necessary specialist qualifications to teach English as a foreign language, and we are proud to employ a number of Masters Degree holders. Our aim is that you enjoy all of the time you spend in Liverpool, both whilst you are learning at our school and when you are at leisure. At the end of your course with us, you will return home having gained a broader understanding of the English Language and our culture, as well as fond memories of an enjoyable time spent in the City of Liverpool.
