Waterloo School of English is a small, friendly school offering lively classes in the heart of London. We believe that when you come to Britain to learn or improve your English you want quality teaching, the right course and fair prices. Our courses emphasise good communication, developing your English language skills for both personal and professional use. And you will find that our prices represent exceptionally good value. We do everything we can to make your experience at our school a positive one. All our teachers are qualified, conscientious and experienced. Classes are limited to a maximum of 10 students. So learning is easier and every student receives more individual attention from the teacher. Students can join a course on any Monday (or Tuesday if the Monday of that week is a public holiday). Like all students who enrol on a course at Waterloo School of English, you will have to take an assessment test when you first arrive. We do this to ensure that you go into a class that best suits your English language abilities. In addition to daytime and evening General English, Business English and exam preparation courses, we also offer one-to-one classes. These provide a time-effective method for individuals who want to improve their language skills in a focused but still enjoyable manner. Waterloo School of English is extremely easy to reach by public transport. We are also very well placed for exploring London. Our school is just a few minutes\' walk from Covent Garden, the London Eye, Covent Garden and the South Bank cultural centre along the South Bank of the River Thames. A benefit that is appreciated by all our students, both those who stay in London for just a few weeks, and those who remain in for much longer.

It\'s not difficult to have fun in a place that has so much to do and see. Historic buildings, world-class museums, art galleries and theatres, famous football teams, plenty of green parks and open spaces are appreciated by Londoners and visitors alike. Waterloo School of English is extremely easy to reach by public transport. We are also very well placed for exploring London. We are just a few minutes\' walk away from the South Bank, the cultural centre next to the River Thames that is home to Tate Modern, the Royal Festival Hall and Nation Theatre, Shakespeare\'s Globe Theatre and host to many free festivals throughout the year. Other words-famous sights like Big Ben, Piccadilly Circus and the Tower of London are only a short distance away.

We do not provide an accommodation service ourselves but work closely with partner agencies that offer affordable hotel, homestay or hostel accommodation.
