The best way to practise your English and learn more about the traditions and way of life in the country where you are studying is to stay with a family. This also gives you plenty of opportunity to practise the language outside the classroom in an English speaking environment. EC's host families are all chosen for their caring attitude to our students. We visit all our families to ensure that they are warm, comfortable and friendly places to return to after a day at school. Your host family will provide you with breakfast and dinner throughout your stay and a packed lunch at the weekend. You can choose to stay in a single room, or in a twin room which you will share with another student. At all EC centres we can offer you a wide selection of alternative accommodation ranging from 3 to 5 star hotels or self-catering apartments ideal for a family. Prices can be obtained from your local booking agent. These options are for those who want to have independence yet share their studying experience in London with other students. Both our Ealing Residence and our Shared Houses give you total flexibility to come and go when you like. But you will have the benefit of a special, social atmosphere in which to share your learning and UK living experiences with students from around the globe.
