Select English, London (formerly Angloschool), founded in 1961, has over 42 years of experience in welcoming International students to London. The School is situated in a green, residential district of South London at Crystal Palace. The best of both worlds, students enjoy living in a peaceful area with its own “village” shopping centre and yet they are only 20 minutes by train to Central London and on a direct bus to Piccadilly and Westminster. The facilities at Select English, London are exceptional with 3 spacious, modernised Victorian buildings, common rooms, a multimedia centre with free email and internet, café and delightful gardens. Social activities included in the fees are: Weekly film show, football practice and a teacher led activity. Monthly barbecues in summer. In addition there is an optional full day excursion every weekend and weekend excursions to such places as Paris and Scotland.

We have 7 levels from Beginners to Advanced and our Courses are run all year round. Students have the option to follow our Courses for 15, 20 or 25 hours per week prices starting from 100.00-GBP per week. Students can join our Courses on any Monday of the year and are ensured an excellent programme of studies with first class teaching. We offer a wide variety of Courses including preparation Courses for the IELTS language test, which is a necessity for most Universities, and the FCE and CAE which are internationally recognised as a valid measure of your standard of English. (We are also a Cambridge Examination Centre for the FCE, CAE and Proficiency). We also offer a Combination Course in General English and Business English for executives and professionals who want to improve both their social English and language relating to their Business life, and for those interested in the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC Higher) a practical exam which focuses on the application of language in dealing with real-world business situations.

Accommodation is arranged in local families living near the school, many within walking distance, or in our school Residence located just 1 minute away from the main School building. This costs 140 GBP per week, single room, B&B, and is subject to availability. You have the freedom to cook your own meals in the residence\'s kitchen.
