Alliance Française de Lyon

The Alliance Française de Lyon welcomes every year more than 2000 students coming from 110 different countries. The AF Lyon is teaching French Language with worldwide recognized methods. We propose 12 intakes throughout the year, from January to December. We can propose general and specific French courses, workshops, outdoor classes, audio lab classes, etc. The AF Lyon is also an official proficiency centre for the Diplomas of the Alliance Française de Paris, for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Paris and for the French Ministry of Education. The AF Lyon will assist you in finding accommodations: university lodgings, hostel, studio-flat, or Bed & Breakfast in a French host family. Evening and week-ends we organize parties, excursions, cine club and a lot more!

Degree 2: “Way stage”: to express nuances of opinions and feelings, ability to claim/ to write a letter of disagreement, to narrate past events; Degree 3 “Threshold”: ability to have a continuous oral exchange/ to take part in a conversation, to write short reports and personal letters, linking events in a logical manner Degree 4 “Vantage”: to be able to talk naturally and fluently about a large variety of subjects, to argue and to point out important and secondary facts, using a large variety of words to facilitate proper links between ideas

Various options are available depending on your requirements and means: - university lodgings, public or private, - hostel - studio-flat - paying guest in a French family.
