The school occupies a spacious three-story building with an area of 3,000 square meters and surrounded by 1,500 square meters of beautiful terraces. It is a modern building with lots of light. The decoration has all kinds of luxurious touches, in accordance with the rest of the Enforex schools. Our school is located in an affluent section of town and right in the middle of Barcelona! It is only a five/ten-minute walk to the famous Ensanche, Plaza de Cataluña and Plaza de España. It is very close to the renowned University and popular areas such as the Gran Vía and Las Ramblas.In terms of public transportation the school could not be in a better location. It is two minutes away from Rocafort and Urgell Metro Stations and 5/10 minutes from Sans, Plaza de España, Universitat and Plaza de Cataluña Metro Stations. And for those who prefer to take the bus, there are over 8 different lines available!

Barcelona is an extremely cosmopolitan city with a population of about 1.5 million people. The Spanish center of fashion, architecture, food, music and style, it is located by the Mediterranean Sea and it is the heart of the autonomous region of Cataluña. one of the richest and more modern areas of Spain. With a population known for its dynamic and eccentric, individualist spirit, the city is a multi-cultural European metropolis that rejoices in its diversity. Barcelona has played a vital role in the economic development of Spain and its total production is about 20% of the total production in the country. It was host of the unforgettable Olympic Games in 1992. Barcelona combines old and modern with a marvellous result. The city is full of places of medieval and modern interest such as: "El Barrio Gótico", "Las Ramblas", "La Plaza de Catalunya", "The Olympic port", "Picasso Museum," the "Miró Foundation" and the various architectural works of Antonio Gaudí such as "La Sagrada Famíla" and "La Pedrera." Visitors to this unforgettable city will also be able to experience its white beaches, which contribute to Barcelona's being one of the most visited cities in Spain.

Our Spanish courses take place all year round and the our schools are always open. The minimum duration is one week with a maximum of 9 students per class during the high season (average of 5students per class). Students will take an oral and written placement test on the first Monday after their arrival in order to be placed in the appropriate level. As soon as the testing process has been completed, the course work takes place immediately. Our methodology is based on acquiring the linguistic, pragmatic and functional aspects of language learning along with the socio-cultural elements of the Spanish way of life. Students are given 10+5, 20, 20+5, or 30+5 lessons (55 minutes each) per week. With the exception of the Intensive course, every general intensive course features one hour per day of cultural lessons that cover every aspect of Spanish culture and civilization from the deeply rooted traditions to topics most relevant to the culture. These classes are available five times per week and are complimentary to the regular courses. In all our courses we try to instruct individually and then integrate the four language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening. In addition to these skills, we also emphasise grammatical structure so the student can eventually reach the threshold of communicative proficiency. We feel that learning a language is a dynamic process in which the students live within the Spanish culture while being totally immersed in the language itself. In order to broaden the student's general perspective, we offer the possibility of studying many different aspects of the Spanish culture including History, Art, Civilization, Literature, Cinema, etc.

Host families Living with a Spanish family will enable the student to see and understand many aspects of the Spanish lifestyle getting a better knowledge of Spanish culture, traditions, etc. Many families have been chosen for these purpose in order to make the stay of our students as pleasant as possible. They will be treated and feel as part of the family. Even though Madrid and Barcelona are big cities, we will always try to accommodate our students within 20/30 minutes from our schools. Students may choose between single or double room as well as half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner). Unless specifically required, students will never be accommodated with other students who speak the same language. In case the student is vegetarian, allergic to pets or has any special request. Enforex will do its best to satisfy any need the students may have. Student's residences Residences are located in the centre of the cities, at 20-30 minutes from our schools. Students will meet Spanish and international students in a stimulating environment. Students may choose between single or double room and even if residences differ from each other, they all have facilities such as cafeteria, library etc. It is also possible to choose half board (breakfast & dinner) or full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner). Shared apartments They are located in the very centre of the cities with a personalised attention of 24 hours per day. There are apartments and studios of different sizes and characteristics according to the needs of every student. Buildings have laundry, air conditioning etc. Prices depend on the apartment and it is necessary to give a deposit upon arrival. The deposit will be returned to the student at the end of the stay provided there are no damages in the apartment. Private apartmets/hotels/hostels Enforex can book a hotel for the students according to their requirements and preferences. There are lots of hotels within 5 minutes from our schools. Our experience has taught us that excursions and cultural visits are a very important part of the learning process and for a better comprehension of our rich and varied culture and rooted traditions. That's why all through the month we organise visits to museums, churches, old emblematic areas of the most interesting places in Madrid, Barcelona, Marbella, Salamanca, Granada and Almuñecar. These visits are usually free of charge. Students receive the programme of cultural activities of the month and an informative folder on the first course day of class, indicating the date of excursions and if it is free of charge. During the week, activities are held in the afternoon or in the evening. On Saturday and/or Sunday the students can go on day or weekend trips organised and guided by our teachers.
