Diálogo is one of the first schools in Brazil that offers study abroad programs for students from all over the world. At Diálogo, you will receive the best of 17 years experience in teaching Portuguese language and Brazilian Culture. The school also prepares students for CELPE-Bras and is recognized by the Bahian University FIB, offering university credits. The school is located 5 minutes on foot from the beaches of Barra district in Salvador. The area is fashionable and residentially up-market, containing good shops, cheap restaurants and trendy bars just 15 minutes from the historic center (Pelourinho). Connected to the Portuguese language program you can take a variety of other classes, as Capoeira, samba and dance classes, scuba dive,cooking classes(including caipirinha, moqueca, feijoada, and others), surf, percussion, and berimbau. Minimum age for participation in the Portuguese courses is 18 years old. Lessons are 50 minutes, with a maximum of 9 students per group. Fees include tuition, course materials and a certificate of completion. Accommodation options include host families, guest houses, and hotels.

Group Classes: The classes are focused on conversation, though there will also be writing (10%), reading (10%) and grammar (30%) requirements. Approximately 50% of class time is dedicated to speaking and understanding. Students also leran by listening to local music or by role-play of everyday situations. A variety of teaching methods make lessons fun, and an effective way to improve and intensify the language skills. Each group contains a minimum of one and maximum of nine students. If there is only one student in a group, the classes are reduced to two lessons a day. Classes are in Portuguese only, but all teachers can speak English, and some even speak other languages such as German, French, Spanish and Italian. Brazil Workshop Brazil Workshop is our standard program. Brazil Workshop students receive the equivalent of four 50-minute classes each day. Classes are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 12:30. Break is at 10:45. Maximum number of students: 9 Teaching material is included Private Classes: The Individual Courses are intensive one-to-one classes designed for anyone who needs to achieve fluency on a professional level within a short period of time, or needs to prepare for any official language test. Teachers are tailored to meet your needs and the requirements of your company or examination you need to pass. We also prepare applicants for the official Brazilian evaluation CELPE-BRAS. Students can develop and practice specific language skills typically required in the professional and business world, including handling telephone conversations, writing business letters, negotiating and holding meetings

All accommodation options begin on Sunday and end on Saturday morning . Extra nights can be acquired if the student needs to arrive before Sunday or leave after Saturday. Double rooms can only be booked by two people travelling together, which means that clients cannot book one half of a double room.
