Linguatime School of English is an international professional English language school based in Sliema, Malta. Linguatime occupies a 1950’s building, which has been refurbished to provide a comfortable and spacious setting. Learning English does not only necessarily mean sitting in a class! We strongly believe that the most successful way to learn a foreign language fast is to combine lessons with everyday situations outside the classroom. For this reason we offer various excursions and activities.

The school is located in Sliema, a seaside resort on Malta’s north east coast. It is the largest and most modern town on the island comprising of numerous cafes, shopping outlets, restaurants, rocky beaches and various accommodations.

Our primary concern is to ensure that you are satisfied with the course chosen and that you get the maximum benefit from the selected programme. Our courses are structured to help you become more confident in English through the teaching of language systems (grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation) and the development of communicative language skills (speaking, listening, reading and writing).

Whether you would like the cultural experience of living with an English speaking host family, the multinational environment of a shared apartment or the independence of a hotel or a private apartment, we will help you find something to suit your needs. On the first day of school, students are briefed about all our activities. Our activities are organised weekly and these are shown on our activity board. Those activities which are organised on weekdays are held in the afternoon (after lessons). Whilst the full day tours are held on weekends. Among these are Gozo tour, Heart of Malta tour, Sicily tour and Blue Lagoon Cruises. The staff of Linguatime also organise in-house activities to create a friendly atmosphere and to bring everyone together.
