Elanguest Language School

At Elanguest we aim to provide our students with high quality English language courses in an enjoyable and friendly international environment. All our teachers are native speakers of English, and are carefully selected for their academic ability, their communicative skills and their rapport with students. Each teacher has a recognized TEFL qualification, and our new teachers are monitored so as to ensure the highest standards are achieved and maintained. The language centre is comprised of two main buildings situated just off the waters edge in St. Julians Bay. Keating House, the largest building of the two, is the centre of the school and is a four story building which houses 13 comfortable class rooms. This is where most of our students will attend their courses and it is also the administrative centre of Elanguest. Many of our students have told us that being at Elanguest is like being part of a large family. We remain in contact with many of our students after they leave us and many regulars return to us year in, year out.

St. Julians is famous for its night life, restaurants, 5* hotels and entertainment centre. It has a large residential area situated very close by where many families host students. Elanguest is 1 minute from the sea, opposite the Hilton hotel and is very well placed for all transport.

General English The General English program aims to develop communication skills and an all-round understanding of the English language. General English is taught at six different levels of English, from beginner to advance. The course covers- reading, writing, listening and speaking and also essential grammar, pronunciation, colloquial language, idioms and vocabulary. As there is no fixed duration for this course you can continue for as long as is needed. Business English Elanguest’s Business English course is designed for the highly motivated business person. The aim of the course is to help business personnel to communicate confidently in a global English speaking, business environment. Medical English This highly interactive, specialist course, aims to provide the student with a sufficient level of Medical English terminology to help develop the communication skills required to converse with English speaking doctors and patients. Intensive English Our Intensive English Language programme is designed for those who wish to get the most out of their learning experience. This intense course will significantly help you to further your English knowledge in the shortest possible time. This effective method of teaching is taught in both morning and afternoon classes. Cambridge exam course Elanguest has been preparing students for the International ESOL exams for over 10 years and has one of the highest exam pass rates for any one centre world wide. Our unique system of preparation, based on a sound knowledge of the English Language and its nuances, allows us to move students into exam preparation classes from any of our other courses. IELTS exam preparation The IELTS exam tests students from Elementary level onwards.
