Billy Blue School of English

Billy Blue School of English provides quality English language teaching in an international study environment, and the warm individual attention which only a small school can offer. Our classes are serious but enjoyable, focusing on the individual needs of the students in the group. Students come from all over the world to study at Billy Blue School of English to create a lively international learning community. We have a maximum of 15 students per class, with some classes being as small as 6 students, and personal attention and support is always assured. At Billy Blue School of English, there is an average of 21 hours per week of classes and students are encouraged to complete Self Study for a further 4 hours per week. The Job Workshop at Billy Blue School of English provides our Working Holiday and Student Visa students with assistance and advice (Resume Writing Skills, Interview Skills, Where to look for Jobs etc) on obtaining casual, part-time employment during their studies.

Sydney is considered one of the most beautiful locations in the world - a metropolitan, vibrant city that extends from the South Pacific Ocean in the east to the Blue Mountains in the west. It is a city of beaches and pavement cafés with possibly the most varied cuisine anywhere in the world. It's very exciting to live there! - North Sydney, where Billy Blue School of English is located, is a lively and sophisticated business district with plenty of food courts and shops around, and close to North Sydney train station. It's just a few minutes across the Harbour Bridge to downtown Sydney and a bus ride to some of the most stunning beaches in the world.

General English is aimed at those students who want to use English in a variety of social, travel and job-related situations. While all skills are taught, General English emphasises speaking and listening, and includes a wide range of functional English. Students planning to go on to further study in an English-speaking environment choose EAP. This course is designed to help develop the language and study skills necessary for success at university, college or TAFE in an English-speaking country. Students are accepted on to the program once they have reached an Upper Intermediate level.
