Sydney English Academy

The Sydney English Academy is a small and friendly school (max 45 students) which has a very supportive and personal atmosphere. Our small class sizes (maximum 10 average of 8) means that teachers can provide students with a high level of personal attention allowing students to make rapid progress in their studies. We offer Intensive General English courses and the Cambridge First Certificate Preparation Course.

Manly has a village atmosphere in which students soon feel at home. It offers a great range of cultural and sporting activities such as surfing, windsurfing, scuba diving and bushwalking. The beach is only 100 metres from the school and all amenities are in easy reach. Manly is only a 15 minute jet-cat ride or 30 minutes by ferry from the centre of Sydney.

All of our teachers have university degrees and specialist English language teaching qualifications. Our small class sizes means that teachers can give each student more personal attention. Manly has a great range of accommodation including many budget backpackers close to the beach and luxury hotels and guest houses.

Manly is a very beautiful polace to study English. It is only 30 minutes by ferry or bus from the centre of Sydney and at the same time has a relaxed village atmosphere. The school is in the main street of Manly and right next door to shops and cafes. It is also only 100 metres from beautiful Manly Beach.
