Vancouver is the magic city, surrounded by snow-covered mountains surrounded by numerous beaches, and some of the largest parks in the world. People are friendly and activities include sports and outdoor recreation as well as an active night life.

Our English courses are carefully designed and administered to maximize learning, avoiding unnecessary repetition. Most courses are offered at many different levels and are divided into 4 week sessions. At the end of the 4 week session, your English level will be assessed, and you can choose new courses based on your results and goals. Our system will assess your written, listening and oral capabilities, so that you will be placed in the perfect English level. We offer daytime and evening classes, full-time (30 hrs/week), standard (25 hrs/week), part-time (15 hrs/week) and semi-private lessons (2-4 students / class), to provide the flexibility so you can study at a time that is convenient. This programs allows our students to experience many aspects of Canadian life and culture through study, work recreation and travel. Program options include accredited and professional development internships, work experience or ranch life. This program will give candidates a distinctly Canadian experience in the country’s most spectacular settings.

Activities are a great way for you to use your English skills outside the classroom, make friends and discover fun places around British Columbia and the Washington State. WLI's activities Coordinator organizes a wide variety of exciting events all year round to ensure students have fun while studying and improving their English in Vancouver.
