We are recognised by the Department of Education for the teaching of English as a Foreign Language. We are the face of Edith Cowan University. They are the second largest university in Western Australia. We offer a wide range of their courses from Diploma to Master\'s level, particularly in the areas of Business, IT and Nursing.

The campus is located in the very heart of the town of Drogheda, County Louth, Republic of Ireland. Drogheda is a bustling town that has grown considerably in the past few years and now boasts an infrastructure that is comparable to any of the major cities in Ireland. It is well served by Road, Rail and Bus links and is only 30 minutes from the heart of Dublin, 20 minutes to the International Airport by car and with 75 minutes of Belfast in the North. There are also a wide range of amenities and leisure activities in the area, shopping, nightlife and sports facilities are abundant. Coastal Beaches and countryside can be accessed within minutes by car or on foot.

The aim of all our English courses, whether intensive or long-term, is to improve the communicative competence of each individual in all contexts and situations – social, inter-personal, academic and commercial. Our success in delivering English language programmes will lead to students’ continuing development as they climb their individual career ladders. This faculty provides English instruction under a wide variety of headings to students of varying backgrounds and with a multiplicity of end objectives. The many facets of language teaching outlined below illustrate this. Students may join courses at any stage throughout the year. EPTI provides assistance in obtaining Irish study visas for non-EU residents. Please note that if non-EU students want to be permitted to work part-time, they need to apply for a minimum of a one year course: - English Language (General) - English Language (Aviation) - English Language (Medical) Thorough assessment is provided for each student using internationally recognised tools. Small classes ensure personal attention for each student, and each course is relevant to the professional area of the student in response to the specific and special needs of the individual. All instructors are University Graduates with Post-Graduate qualifications in English as a Foreign Language.

All our host families live in a walking distance of our school. Students stay on a half board accommodation basis from Monday to Friday and full board during the weekend.
