Numbers can give you an idea of the quantity, not of the quality. We were the earliest school for international students of our region ("Le Marche") and of the Adriatic side of Italy. Now we're the first well-know and important part in Italy. You can have the idea about this on our website. We are always searching for the quality and design on the students measure. The preparatory course to enter into Italian university, conservatory of music, academy of fine arts is very important. We have also music course for international opera singers, and instrumentalists; Italian language and cultural courses with optional courses in arts and handicraft; individual course (one to one), regular courses (6-12 per classroom), study holiday for groups and so on (see our websites). Our idea is "small course in a small town" to live full in experience in Italy, to live and learn Italian language and culture in the Italian way with the Italians. Our school was born with original ideas and became very soon a model for many other schools.

Urbania is a pretty and historical small town, in a very beautiful and historical area, but also modern and economically developed, far from industrial big cities, polluted and with many social problems. It's the right place to study and to have a pleasant experience of the Italian life. It's easier to make friends and to practise the Italian language because we're not in a mass tourism city.

The methodological criteria which has always guided us is that of putting the student - every single student, with his or her personality and full potential - at the centre of our attentions. In this we feel to be heirs of the great Italian humanistic tradition, but at the same time we are open to the technological innovations of our time. We make a discreet and selective use of the most well-known teaching methods (communicative, logical-functional, rational study of the language, etc.) adapting them, case by case, to the needs and to the teaching objectives. Our method is therefore experimental, flexible, adaptable; in a word it is "creative", and consequently inimitable. We have elaborated our own specific educational strategy. The study programmes of the language are divided up in 8 different levels (Beginners 1st and 2nd, Pre-intermediate 1st and 2nd, Intermediate 1st and 2nd, Advanced 1st and 2nd), plus the Superior course for Italian teachers abroad.

Students lives in the comfortable furnished flat with cooking facilities or in host families.
