If you’ve always imagined Spain as a warm, Mediterranean paradise, you should try studying in Alicante. With some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, Alicante lies between the mountains and the sea and basks in mild temperatures year-round. Alicante is at once a tranquil and lively city that captivates the imagination with its rich history. The same seaside air that you’ll enjoy first attracted the ancient Romans, enticed the Arabs to stay for over 500 years and was finally reclaimed by the Christians in the 13th century. Come celebrate Alicante’s past during the Las Hogueras, a convivial festival during which incredible papier-maché sculptures are erected and then burned amidst parades and luminous fireworks. Whether you want to relax in style and have a drink on the palm-lined esplanades or partake in the vibrant nightlife and university atmosphere, Alicante has something to offer for all tastes. Learn Spanish in Alicante and get to know an intimate, medium-sized city with an unbeatable climate, delicious food, and warm, friendly inhabitants that will welcome you as their own.

All our Spanish courses are scheduled year ´round. The minimum course duration is one week and even with this short stay you are assured a maximum of 9 students per class (with classes average 5 students). Students take an oral and written placement test on the first Monday in order that school directors can assure they are placed in the appropriate level. As soon as the testing process has been completed, the coursework begins immediately. Our methodology is based on acquiring the linguistic and pragmatic functional aspects of the spoken language along with an understanding of the socio-cultural elements of the Spanish way of life. Students may select from 10+5, 20, 20+5 or 25+5 lessons (each lesson lasting 55 minutes) per week. We offer: Semi-intensive course: 10+5 lessons per week Intensive course: 20 lessons per week Intensive + course: 20+5 lessons per week Super-intensive course: 25+5 lessons per week. In all our courses we study the basic language skills individually: reading, writing, speaking and listening…then we work to integrate them. In addition to these skills we also emphasize grammatical structure to help the student reach an optimum threshold of communicative proficiency. Additionally, to broaden the student's general perspective, we offer the possibility of studying distinct facets of Spanish culture including history, art, civilization, literature, cinema, and more. We feel that immersion language learning is a dynamic process which takes advantage of the fact that the students are living within the Spanish culture.
