Many of which were used when Calgary hosted the 1988 Winter Olympics. The school is conveniently located right downtown next to the train station. It is only a few minutes walk to the main cultural and shopping areas.

GEOS carefully screens all host families to be sure that they have the qualities necessary to provide our students with the best possible experience in Calgary! You can visit tourist attractions with GEOS staff and students. Trips and activities are provided at a nominal cost. We endeavour to give students the opportunity to participate in the local way of life, we provide advice and information related to the host culture and we introduce the activities programme as an extension of the classroom.
