Interlink School of Languages

INTERLINK School of Languages is situated in Sea Point, a wonderful beachfront suburb on the Atlantic Sea board in Cape Town. The school is a short walk from the world famous Clifton beaches with the Waterfront and city centre only ten-minutes away by public transport. The Main Road of Sea Point is also within walking distance, so students have easy access to public transport, restaurants, banks, the post office, supermarkets and so on. We have been training international and local students for six years and have acquired a reputation for providing a quality service. INTERLINK is one of the founding members of ELTASA, the English Language Travel Association of South Africa.

Cape Town is a beautiful and culturally diverse city, situated between the mountains and the sea. Many visitors come for the beauty and the climate, but the city offers much more and there are a wide variety of tours and attractions to visit. The city has a welcoming and friendly atmosphere that makes visitors want to return and stay for longer. Cape Town is a vital city in the global village and learning and practicing your English here is great fun!

We offer quality general and intensive English courses as well as exam preparation courses for the major international English exams such as Cambridge, TOEFL, IELTS and the London Chamber of Commerce English for Business exams. We also offer lessons in French, Spanish, German, Afrikaans, Xhosa, Mandarin and Arabic. Our classes are small therefore, students receive personal attention from the teachers and get to know each other well.

It is important that students are happy during their stay in Cape Town. Living in a private home is an excellent way to meet friendly, hospitable Capetonians who will help them to find their way around our beautiful city and encourage them to improve their English. We carefully select our host families to fit students’ particular needs and to ensure that they are well looked after in a caring environment. We offer standard and executive accommodation. Executive accommodation is larger and more up market, with either an en suite, or private bathroom. Standard accommodation is a private room in a smaller, but still neat and pleasant home where the rest of the facilities are shared with the host. Our host families live close to the school, many within walking distance. Students have the option of either bed and breakfast or bed and breakfast and dinner. Interaction with the host family is encouraged by the school and we ask students to join in with family activities. Host families and students often form good relationships and continue to correspond for many years. Host families are carefully inspected and evaluated by the school.

The social program at Interlink combines English training with the fun and excitement of Cape Town. We provide weekly activities for our students. These take place in the afternoons or the evenings. At weekends, we also offer full-day or half-day tours to one of the many places of interest in and around Cape Town. All these activities are optional for students.
