CICA is a friendly Spanish language school offering Spanish language and culture courses in Granada and Almuñécar (Spain). We are a young and enthusiastic team with wide experience in language teaching and multicultural groups. Our teachers and teacher trainers are all qualified and professional. All our classes are small (maximum 8 students) and our students come from all over the world. We offer courses for adults all year and we accept also closed groups throughout the year. We are a hard-working, quality school offering good value courses. Each location programs provides a wide range of activities, safe environment, sites to see, and enthusiastic Spanish staff.

Almuñécar, overlooking the crystal-clear and calm Mediterranean Sea, is considered one of the prettiest and most picturesque spots of the “Tropical Coast of Granada”, - a mountain landscape rolling down to the sea where avocados, custard apples, mangoes, papayas, bananas and guavas grow. This is only possible because of the exceptional temperatures of the area, between 18ºC (64ºF) in the winter and 25ºC (77ºF) in the summer. Especially famous is the beauty of its sea floor. Granada is a lively university city in the South of Spain with excellent entertainment facilities. Granada has lived through the influences of the Iberian, Roman, Jewish and Islamic cultures and the city holds two of the world’s greatest historical treasures, The Alhambra and El Generalife. The beautiful and dream-like Islamic palaces, gardens and fountains of these two monuments attract some 2 million visitors a year. Together with El Albaicin- the old Islamic quarter of the city- La Alhambra and El Generalife form part of UNESCO’s World Heritage. Granada has indeed won deserved fame from its melting pot of cultures and its openness to diverse trends.

These courses are taught in all levels, from beginner to advanced. On the first day the student will be placed in a group of his/her level after being tested in the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing). The groups have 8 students maximum. The students may choose 15, 20 or 25 lessons of classroom instruction per week, and programs from one week to four or more weeks in length. One-to-one tuition: Spanish lessons are 50 minutes and fees are 19 € per lesson.

You can choose between a homestay with a Spanish family full or half board, a hostel or a hotel. We strongly recommend a family stay if you wish to get involved in the Spanish way of life, learn our customs, practice what you have learned and share a unique experience.

Our programs have a two-folded aim: to develop your skills in Spanish, as well as to get you immersed in the natural and cultural aspects of this beautiful area. For this purpose, quality education and leisure activities are combined in these multi-adventure programs.
