The Canterbury Institute is located near the centre of the city of Christchurch. More specialized programmes are also offered in areas such as English for Business, English Plus and English + PADI Open Water Diving License. The institute is located on a major bus route with buses arriving and departing from the institute regularly. During your time in Christchurch you have the option of staying with a friendly local family. You can experience the New Zealand way of life and practise speaking the english you learn at school with your host family. Homestay includes dinner, bed and breakfast on weekdays and full board on weekends. You will have your own room and all host families are within a bus ride of the institute. Canterbury Institute staff are available to offer support and guidance to students. They can assist you with any difficulties that may arise during your study and stay in New Zealand. Apartments and Flats are also available.
