Colorado School of English (CSE) works with many universities in the metro area: University of Colorado, University of Denver, Community College of Denver, Colorado School of Mines, Colorado Art Institute, Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. Some of these colleges and universities accept our graduates with NO TOEFL score. The school offers an intensive TOEFL preparation program, Executive's English Program, and tesol/tesl/tefl teacher training programs. There is a computer lab at the school and students go on field trips or excursions every Friday.

Teacher training courses: tesl/tefl certificate - we offer 2 programs, one for beginners and one for experienced teachers. Students like our programs because they are qualified to teach nearly anywhere around the world. Our 12-week program offers 30 hours of practice teaching (practicum) - an invaluable aspect of the program. Students graduate feeling comfortable in the classroom. Our practicum is far more extensive than that offered by any other tesol certificate program. Students love the Intensive English Program because they learn to communicate. All classes offer a heavy emphasis in COMMUNICATION skills - both in speaking and writing. Classes are smaller than those in other schools in Colorado - with an average of 7-8 students and a maximum of 12 students! All of the teachers are EXPERIENCED and friendly! Homestay - we personally screen our American host families and match them as best we can to your needs. Students pay the family $600 per month for 3 meals per day, and lodging. Living with a host family allows students to feel comfortable in Denver, and to practice speaking English at home. Dormitories - are off campus and beautifully remodeled. They offer a pool, fitness center, and many social activities. These dorms are just 8 minutes by bus to Colorado School of English. They offer a variety of room plans and meal plans. Apartments: there are a variety of apartments within walking distance of the school from inexpensive studio apartments at $500 per month to luxury apartments starting at $1200 per month.

On Fridays, students have the option of joining our school field trips and excursions. We do a variety of things based on the students' interests. This is an opportunity for students to socialize with all the students in the school and to get out and see Denver and the Rocky Mountains.
