American College Dublin was established in 1993 as a non-profit educational trust by Lynn University, Boca Raton, Florida, USA. Extensive continuous assessment is used to ensure progress is maintained throughout. Class sizes are small which allows for greater interaction between students and lecturers. Students are encouraged to question and to discuss issues which leads to a more dynamic learning experience.

The College arranges accommodation with carefully chosen Irish host families. All students are accommodated on a single room basis. We ensure that no two students with the same mother tongue are placed in the same house. Our host families provide bed, breakfast and evening meal and light laundry facilities. We can also arrange accommodation in hotels, hostels and apartments. Students may avail of the International Hall of Residence which is located at Lower Mount Street (3 minute walk from the college). Accommodation is offered in single, twin or triple rooms. Breakfast and an evening meal are served in the dining room. A gymnasium, TV room, computer room and study room are also available and 24-hour security is provided.
