The school has the following facilities: 17 fully equipped classrooms (small class groups). Students common room / coffee room. Garden patio area. Self access study library. Multimedia room with computers and free Internet and email access. Free programme of extra curricular tours and activities throughout the year. The school offers a full range of English language courses and internationally recognised examinations. Most students live with carefully selected Irish host families located within a short bus or train journey of the school. The school also operates a small student residence located approximately 20 mins from the school and a number of excellent quality self-contained apartments in the city centre.

The Horner School of English is located in the heart of Dublin city in the area known as the "Georgian Mile". The school building is a fine example of a Georgian period house built in 1793. The school is located within easy reach of the train and bus routes. Grafton Street the main shopping area in Dublin is a 5 min walk from the school.

The Horner School of English offers a wide range of courses for adults aged 18 years and over. Our courses operate throughout the year and can be commenced on any Monday. Class groups and teaching methods are carefully planned to allow students to integrate easily and progress quickly. Course prices are inclusive of the following services: Tuition; Welcome Pack; Use of the Self Access Library; Use of the Computer Room Including Free Email and Internet; Level assessment on arrival; Student Coffee Room; Garden Area; Full administrative backup including Accommodation Officer & Academic Director; Tours and Excursions (Entry Fees included); ·Each lesson is equal to 50 mins ·Course Textbooks are available to purchase at the school.

Most students live with carefully selected Irish host families located within a short bus or train journey of the school. The host families are of excellent standard, friendly with good food and comfortable accommodation. Our policy is to place only one student of each nationality per family. We also have a student residence located approximately 20 minutes from the school and a selection of excellent quality, self-contained apartments in the city centre.

Activities

Regular activities:  The activity programme operates all year round with one evening activity and one afternoon visit included in the price of the course. Entrance fees to the activities are also paid by the school
