Agape English Language Institute

Agape's goal is to give you the necessary English and cultural skills that will enable you to reach your academic and professional goals in the United States or back in your home country. A cosmopolitan city halfway between Charlotte and Atlanta, and located in South Carolina' most populous county, Greenville offers a combination of international commerce, traditional Southern culture, and one of America's liveliest downtowns.

Comprehensive Curriculum New students are admitted at the beginning of each 4-week, 8-week or 9-week session. Instruction is offered between 18 and 21 hours per week for up to six different levels. Conversation Partners For those who do not choose to stay in an American home, Agape provides English conversation partners as a unique opportunity to meet Americans, become friends with them, and practice your listening and speaking skills. Small Classes Since each class is small, you will have more opportunities to improve your English quickly. You will have more individual attention from your teacher, and will have more speaking time in class.

Agape can arrange a homestay for you with an American host or host family. This unique opportunity gives you the the chance to improve your conversational and listening skills at a faster rate, while learning about American culture. Agape chooses only caring, friendly hosts and families to give you the best possible experience in an American home. Other Housing Options If you prefer to live in an apartment, Agape's staff can help you locate suitable housing near the program location.

Picnics, mountain or beach trips, whitewater rafting, etc. are organized for social and recreational purposes. Special friendship dinners with Americans are held throughout the academic year. Also, American friendship partners are voluntarily assigned to give you a special friend or family to make you feel at home while you are in the USA.
